Mimi's Story

Meet Mimi! At around 6 years old and 44 pounds, Mimi is the kind of dog who fits into just about any home. She's the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. Whether it's a hike, a game of fetch, or an afternoon curled up on the couch, she's just happy to be with her people.

Mimi absolutely adores kids and is incredibly gentle, loving, and loyal. She's everyone's best friend at doggy daycare and would love a canine companion, but she'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all of your attention. She's crate trained, house trained, wonderful on leash, rides great in the car, and has excellent manners at the vet and during bath time. She truly is an easy, go-with-the-flow kind of dog.
Mimi is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and has done an amazing job in training. Because of a difficult past, she does need slow, thoughtful introductions to new men and should remain on leash in public to help set her up for success. With those simple management steps, she has been thriving and continues to impress everyone she meets.
Mimi also has some skin allergies that are currently being managed, and they don't slow her down one bit.

Her foster says she's one of the easiest dogs they've ever had. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who will happily follow you from room to room and love you with her whole heart, Mimi just might be your perfect match.
