Mimi Chihuahua & Wirehaired Terrier Mix Westerly, RI

Mimi and Rico (bonded pair)
Mimi is a wire haired Chihuahua mix- 5 yr old- spayed female
Rico is a short haired chihuahua- 18 yr young- neutered male
These two are a pair of sweet, lovable, cuddly buddies. Yes they need to be adopted together. Mimi loves to smile and give kisses and Rico loves to snuggle in his bed and have his buns scratched !! They do not fit the chihuahua stereotype of being barky- they are non- vocal !!!
Rico was trained on pee pads and will either need to wear a diaper in his new home or trained not to mark in the home (very doable). They both previously lived with another small breed dog . We think they would be fine with another dog but a gentle, easy dog who would respect Rico’s age and both of their small sizes. Also, they are both extremely sweet and would be fine with children, but again, best to be older children who understand the respect these little ones need . The two of them have excellent energy and have no physical limitations to exercise. They are happy to run around in a fenced in yard or go for a decent walk - very good on a leash wearing a harness .
