Milton's Story

Milton is a Husky/American Pitbull Terrier mix, born approximately February 2021, & this sweet guy would love a home with the another dog, but cats are a hard no because he just likes to chase them. ? Milton is actually such a good boy he was in the running to be a service dog, but he narrowly didn’t make the cut.<br/>He is crate & potty trained, but like most dogs, he doesn’t like to be kenneled for long periods of time. He would love a person/family who is active & keeps him in the loop - & of course showers him with love. Milton is also good with children but we ask that kids in the home be at least 8 years old. We know Milton will be the bestest boy for someone. While we do prefer a home with fully fenced yard, we will consider apartments/condos and townhomes with a proper exercise plan.

Mikey's Chance Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit Mikeyschance.com to find out about our adoption procedures. We do not have a central facility where you can meet our dogs, because they are in foster homes. Once you have been approved to adopt a dog we will gladly arrange for you to meet any dogs that are potentially a good fit for your home. We carefully review each application and place dogs based on a variety of criteria. Ultimately, we will always act in the best interest of the dog. We will conduct a background check on each adult living in the home. We will contact your vet. Mikey’s Chance also conducts home-checks to assure the best possible placement of all our rescue animals. PLEASE NOTE: It is our policy to only adopt to homes where the current pets: Are up to date on vaccinations; Have been either spayed or neutered; and Have received routine veterinary care. Applications that do not meet this policy shall be denied.
