We believe Milton to be an American Staffordshire mix. His estimated DOB is 01/14/2022, and he weighs 21 pounds as of 04/18/2022.

Playful, cuddly, and oh so sweet! Milton absolutely loves his people and makes sure they are never far from his sight. He lives in a foster home that includes a foster dad, foster mom, 2 teenager and he loves them all. Milton's foster home also includes 2 dogs and he is playful with them all. He knows when to settle down when the older dogs let him know that they need a break. While Milton does not have a prey drive, he has not yet met a cat.

Milton is working hard on his house-training skills. His adoptive family should be prepared to take him out on a consistent schedule. Milton is also crate-trained. He stays in the crate to sleep at night and when his foster family is out of the home for errands or for short periods during the day to nap.

Milton knows the commands Sit and Stay. He is leashed trained and enjoys his daily walks. Milton also loves attending lacrosse games with his foster family where he is always a hit - absolutely loves all the attention he gets.

Milton is treat motivated, which helps greatly with training. He takes treats gently from the hand and is easily re-directed. He is not food aggressive and does not resource guard - he will allow you to take toys and food away from him. We would like Milton's forever family to invest in training, as all puppies benefit from a structure training program.

Milton is still a puppy and patience will be needed. He is a wonderful pup and will prove to be a loving and faithful companion to a very lucky family.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
