Milton's Story

Milton is an elegant, older gentleman dog, between 5 and 6 yrs old and weighs about 70 lbs.

Milton is very well behaved and has a lot of love to give. He's a sweet, friendly dog who is comfortable around all people. He loves treats and takes them gently. He welcomes pets and scratches and gently paws you to let you know he wants more.

Despite being neglected and not well treated by his family, Milton never shows fear, aggression or anxiety towards strangers.

Milton is ready to foster or adopt. Fostering to adopt is a great way to see if he'll be a good fit for your family and lifestyle.

From a family that fostered him for a weekend: "What a sweet boy he is! Milton played with other dogs, showed many strangers some love, and did great during a 10k race in Golden Gate Park. He became such a loyal dog in a very short period of time. Milton has a beautiful soul and can do great in both an active home or a house with moderate activity. He is very gentle and calm, but he’s quick to kick up his energy levels if his companion is up for it. He is a patient dog and let us bathe him with his unique grace."
