He comes from a loving home but his owner had to work long hours and travel a lot with her job. She wanted him to have a home that is home more often for him. He is very curious but also kinda timid. We have been told that he is good with other dogs and even young children. He likes to cuddle while sitting on the couch and he likes to sleep in the big bed burrowed next to you. He is very interested in what you eat but not super food motivated with his own food. Mostly potty trained but will have an occasional accident. Still working on it. Right know he doesn&#39;t seem to have a TON of energy like I would expect with being 1 year old. He really likes toys. He would make a great family pet!<br/>Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won&#39;t permit having a dog? How about being a sponsor or making a donation. Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing. Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.
