Milo's Story

Milo is 50+ pounds of pure loveable mush! Every time you get on the ground to say hello he will fall into your arms and melt for some love. He's doing well with his leash manners and just wants to be by your side ready to follow you wherever you go. He may be big but he is still just a puppy who's working on finding his confidence and becoming the best forever friend he can be. When he was found wandering the streets in Georgia he was accompanied by his older friend Otis. We don't know if they came from a home together or just became best friends on the street, but regardless they love spending time together and get so happy to see each other! They are not bonded but it is very entertaining watching such different breeds get along so well! If you want a big, loveable mushy puppy Milo is your guy, so don't wait- come meet him before he's gone!

APPROXIMATE WEIGHT: 49 lbs
ESTIMATED DOB: 1/23/2025
GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS: yes
GOOD WITH KIDS: yes
GOOD WITH CATS: unknown
REQUIRES A FENCE: no
ACTIVITY LEVEL: med-high
LIKES TO VOCALIZE: yes
SPECIAL NEEDS: no
BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED: no
APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER? yes
FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS

Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained". The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us. Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training. We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility.Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application. All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed. If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email adopt@littleguild.org. The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.
