IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Meet Milo!

If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend with a heart of gold, Milo might just be your perfect match. Milo is a 6-year old, 69lb neutered lab mix currently being fostered in HOUSTON, TX but can be transported out-of-state to an approved adopter!

Milo is the definition of a gentle soul. Sweet, mellow, and incredibly loving, he wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Whether he's following you from room to room, soaking up belly rubs and brushing sessions, or happily snoozing at your feet, Milo is happiest when he's part of the family.

While he's laid back by nature, Milo definitely has a playful side! He loves playing with other friendly dogs, especially a good game of tug-of-war. His play style is relaxed and respectful—he's more of a happy lumberer than a speed demon, and he's great at recognizing when another dog is ready to call it quits. Although he enjoys having a canine friend to play with, he doesn't need another dog in the home and would be perfectly content as your one-and-only.

Milo is a wonderful houseguest. He's fully house-trained, walks nicely on leash (though he's still learning not to pull when something interesting catches his eye), and settles well in his crate when left home alone. He's food motivated and eager to learn, making continued training both rewarding and fun.

This sweet boy has also been wonderful with children. He's spent time with kids as young as two years old and has been gentle, calm, and happy simply being near them. He greets new people like old friends, approaching everyone with a wagging tail and a warm heart. Car rides are no problem either—Milo is an excellent passenger!

One of Milo's most adorable habits happens every morning. When you open his crate, his whole body wiggles with excitement as he leans in for affection, reminding you just how grateful he is to start another day by your side.

Milo would thrive in almost any loving home, whether it's an active family or a quieter household. He's looking for people who will include him in their everyday life, give him plenty of love and companionship, and let him return the favor with unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and lots of sweet wiggles.

If you're ready for a devoted companion who will love you with his whole heart, Milo is ready to meet you.

***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***

Interested in adding Milo to the family?
