Milo's Story

It's Milo! A young sweet boy who is a bit shy at first. He usually needs some time to warm up to new people, but once he does, you'll see how truly lovable and goofy Milo can be! He is curious and loves to explore and go for long walks, though he can be anxious in car rides. Milo's smart, he's already crate trained and housebroken, but he will need time to adjust in a new home. He would do best in a home that offers Milo a calm and consistent environment. This anxious boy is looking for the perfect family to help show him that the world is not so scary and help work with him on his confidence. If you're interested in changing this boys life forever, stop by the RHSPCA today!

Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA's Adoption Policy
Adoption applicants must complete an application form as the first step towards acquiring a pet. Your application will be verified by staff who will explain the next step in your adoption process. All adoption criteria must be met before the adoption is approved. Once approved, you are under no obligation to complete the adoption if you change your mind. All dogs and cats are required to be spayed or neutered. The first step to solving the pet overpopulation problem is to prevent contributing to it. The deposit you pay at the time of the adoption goes towards that surgery wherever you choose to establish a relationship with a veterinarian. Pets are placed in the best possible home if there is more than one application pending. We cannot place a hold or accept a deposit on a pet. Adopters may only adopt 2 pets within a 30-day period. We can and do adopt to out-of-area homes given that the pet is spayed or neutered before crossing county lines per Virginia state law and the applicant has physically interacted with the pet. We will not ship a pet.
