Milo's Story
Hi! I’m Milo, a 3.5-year-old Italian Greyhound mix weighing in around just 12 lbs. Don’t let my size fool you – I’m a high-energy little guy with a big personality.
I’m looking for my forever home with someone who understands my need for activity, attention, and continued training. I would do best in an adult-only home with someone who is active and able to keep up with my energy level. I thrive on stimulation and love one-one-one interaction that challenges both my body and mind.

My foster mom thinks I’d excel in activities like tricks or even agility – I’m smart, eager, and love having a job to do! A securely fenced in yard would be ideal for me to safely burn off energy.

I do have a high pretty drive, so a home without small animals would be best. While I enjoy the company of most other dogs, I may do best as the only dog in the home where I can get all the attention. I do have guarding behaviors, and my person is one of them. I need a patient and a committed owner who is willing to invest time in building trust and helping me grow.
I am also a huge cuddle bug, and will try to be on your lap as much as I can. When we sit outside I often jump up on my foster mom's lap to hang out. I love sleeping in bed with my person, especially under the covers.
With consistency, structure, and love, I have so much potential to be an amazing companion. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $275.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive
- deworming
