Milo's Story

Six month old Milo was rescued from the local shelter. Staff believed he was hit by a vehicle as he presented with a spiral fracture in back leg.

Milo has been fostered since coming into Rescue, and his leg is healed 100% now.

Milo is a 7-8 month old Pyrenees mix (we think Anatolian Shepard) who is super sweet, very calm, and eager to please! He currently lives with cats, kids, and dogs in his foster'home.

Milo is working on some insecurities due to what we can only fathom was a resource deprived, exclusively outside living situation before he came to us. He does well sharing toys and affection, however we do feed him separately just to provide him additional support while he learns that food is no longer a scarce resource.

Milo is looking for a calm, patient, affectionate forever home that is willing to be the leader. He needs to build his confidence. He would benefit from one or two other calm siblings as he does very well in a comfortable relaxed pack. Milo could benefit from additional confidence building training as well as exposure to new people, new sounds and new furry friends (in a controlled situation).

Milo is a wonderful dog who is excited to please his people, he’s between large and extra large in size and has a lot of growing still left to do!

Adoption fee: $100
