Adoption Pending
Milo lives in Syracuse, New York and he is a low maintenance boy who is about 45 lbs, 6 years old and has lived with his current owners for two and a half years. He is healthy, and housebroken and can be trusted to behave well when he is left free in the house while his people are out or working. His favorite way to spend an evening is cuddling, being pet and watching TV with his people. He also likes to play with toys, enjoys doing doggy food puzzles and he will fetch, then challenge you on how to get the ball or toy back. He is a calm, well-behaved boy in the house, even though he howls to the theme song of “The Office” every time it is on. Milo has had formal training and knows how to sit, stay, lay down, and he comes when called. He is a great dog when he is at home. About a year ago, Milo's owners moved to a place in the city, without a backyard. Since then Milo needs to be walked a few times a day. Unfortunately, cars and bikes and other animals make him anxious and reactive when he is being walked. Before being adopted by his current owners Milo was found in a rural area of Indiana. He was fostered for a few months in a quiet country home with two school aged children but no other pets. No one knew dogs, bikes and cars going past him would be unsettling to him. Unfortunately, Milo does not seem to be able to adjust to the hustle and bustle of city life. His owner has tried helping Milo calm down with medication when on walks but as time goes on he has become more anxious and stressed by these triggers. Sadly, Milo is in need of a new, quiet home with less distractions. Milo had always been a good boy who wanted to please his people but he is not coping well in the city and his owner thinks he will happier and once again thrive in a quieter environment where he has a home with a yard and a person (or two) to love.
If you are interested in giving Milo a new home and can provide him with a loving but calmer environment, please email Delaney at delaneydemro@gmail.com
