Milo

Milo is a full-bred German Shorthaired Pointer. He recently found himself homeless when his person decided that owning a bird dog was a passing fancy. Milo has had limited exposure to "the good life". He was housed in an outdoor pen with a concrete floor. When we met him, he didn't understand that grass was for urinating and sidewalks were for walking! And his curious reaction to furniture was priceless....something to jump over for sure! And, SO many smells on this couch! Actually, Milo is the only adult dog we've known who was never taught to "sit"! Despite a life of limited experience and education, Milo has turned out to be one of the most intelligent, loyal, and loving dogs we've ever met. In the short time he has been with us, he has learned to do his business outside (dog door trained), and has learned a few commands. He is NOT a barker. He gets along very well with all people and dogs . He seems to be fine with cats. His favorite things are sniffing, exploring, giving/receiving affection, and pleasing his humans. Milo's perfect home would have a fenced back yard and people who are willing to continue his education.
