Milo's Story

Meet Milo, a 2-year-old Italian Greyhound bursting with energy and ready for adventure. He loves nothing more than racing around the dog park with his buddies. Though shy at first, Milo warms up quickly and reveals his sweet, playful side once he feels comfortable. He’s kennel-trained and potty-trained, though still figuring out the dog door—he’s a bit scared of it and prefers being taken outside. He may have had a bad experience with one in the past, but with time and patience, he’s learning to build confidence.

Milo is smart and food-motivated, responding well to positive reinforcement and treats. He knows commands like sit, touch, and leave it, and with regular practice, he’ll continue to improve. Like many Italian Greyhounds, Milo can be anxious in new situations, but lots of praise and consistency help ease his fears. He’s a great passenger in the car and rides calmly in the backseat when harnessed in.

Since Milo is a runner, a secure fenced yard is essential to give him space to burn off his energy. He would do best in a home without children, with humans who can take him on daily walks, hikes, and dog park adventures. He’d love to have other dog siblings who can keep up with his playful nature.

Milo is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He’s looking for a patient, loving family that understands his quirks and will give him the care and attention he needs to thrive. If you’re ready for a fun, active companion, Milo might be the perfect match!
