Milo's Story
Meet Milo!

Milo is a happy, affectionate boy looking for the family he's always deserved. He was rescued from the streets of Lo de Marcos, Mexico through a local animal rescue organization and made the journey to the Pacific Northwest thanks to an incredible network of volunteers. We are currently fostering him and are happy to continue doing so until the perfect home comes along.

Milo and his sister, Mika, spent the first few years of their lives surviving on their own, so he can be a little cautious with new people at first. Once he feels safe, though, his sweet, playful personality shines. He loves walks, exploring, chasing squirrels, and then curling up for plenty of cuddles.

He's fully potty trained, knows basic commands, isn't much of a barker, and genuinely wants to please his people. He does well with other dogs after thoughtful introductions and has done well with older, gentle children. Younger, very energetic kids can make him a little nervous, but he has never shown aggression. He also previously lived peacefully with a cat.

Milo is available for adoption on his own and we truly believe he'll thrive in the right family. He has spent his entire life with his sister, Mika, and they share a truly special bond. While we've decided they're both confident enough to succeed in separate homes, we'd also be absolutely thrilled if the perfect family came along wanting to adopt them together! (We are fostering them both.) Either way, we know these pups will thrive individually or together! If you're interested in Milo and have room in your heart for two wonderful dogs, be sure to check out Mika's profile as well.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with a sweet heart and adventurous spirit, Milo may be the perfect addition to your family. We'd love to introduce you—please reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet! We are fostering Milo in Sandpoint, ID and happy to coordinate transport for this precious boy!
