Milo's Story

Meet Milo! Milo just turned 2, is kennel trained but also able to be left out when not home with no issues, knows how to use a dog door but can also let you know when he needs outside, LOVES to snuggle and get belly rubs, has Addison’s disease so needs a calm environment preferably without kids as they tend to make him anxious, knows basic commands, loves car rides & walks, plays fetch, good with other animals, needs meds twice a day but he takes them amazingly and they are very affordable. He is great with other animals but since the prednisone he can get protective of his bones and toys. He is fine with treats and food. Milo is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. Paw Posse Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

All potential adopters fill out an application. If we feel based off the application that they may be a good fit we do a phone interview. If that goes well we do a meet and greet. If there are other dogs involved they are included in the meet and greet. If that goes well we move to the home inspection. If they pass we can process the application. Sometimes dogs don't mesh the first time meeting. We will set up additional meet and greets for the dogs. There may be things in their home that we ask them to change (storage box by a fence, lock on the gate, barrier at the front door). Once we verify these items repaired/in place we will approve the application. We follow up with our adopters regularly. We ask for updated photos and help with any concerns they may be having.
