Millie's Story

This amazing dog is Millie!

Millie was brought to us. We confirmed that she was abused. Her father was in failing health and they could not have her anymore.

She was guarding the male owner from the female owner and they didn’t know what to do for her moving forward. We have discussed a home that has a more positive approach on training. So we are looking for a family that wants a dog that is smart and loves to train.

Her birthday is 4/12/22. She is a German shepherd dog and Australia shepherd mix! We know that a family that understands these breeds would be perfect for her because she reflects a lot of their typical behaviors.

Currently Millie is living with two dog trainers and has learned a lot and we have learned so much about her. We think that she would love to live in a home with no other animals or children. She would love a home where a man could be her main person. Someone that really just wants a close dog friend. The trainers are even willing to make any drive to help transition her into a home.

We have gotten her up to date on vaccine, heartworm test, microchip and monthly preventative. She has been spayed.

She loves to play, sunbath, take naps by your feet and her dog bed. She loves walking and smelling. She is not fully leash trained but is easy to walk!

Her foster brings her to work everyday and she loves greetings everyone! She just runs from person to person to get love or a snack! She rides great in the car.

Foster Notes:
She can be picky about food and treats. She definitely wants wet food and a freeze dry kibble food.

She loves men, still good some with women but loves men!

Not destructive when left alone.

Never has accidents in the house.

Adoption fee 175.00

If you are interested in meeting Millie, please email PawsitiveCauseMI@gmail.com
