A fully fenced and secure yard. <br/><br/>Sweet Millie, 7, came to us from an owner who could no longer care for her and let her come into rescue to find a perfect home. <br/><br/>Millie is a sweet, loving, cuddly dog and absolutely is a Velcro cavalier who wants to be with her person all the time. <br/><br/>Millie is a little overweight at 17 lbs and is currently on a diet. She could probably stand to lose about 1 to 1.5 pounds to get her to her ideal weight. She is currently on Purina Pro Plan Weight Management food. <br/><br/>Overall Millie is in overal good health. She is heart clear, but does have chronic dry eye. It was left untreated for quite some time which has resulted in some vision loss. She isn’t blind, but does have a harder time in low light conditions and because of this is always very near her person and by their feet. She would not be a good fit for someone who is unsteady on their feet. <br/><br/>She was recently spayed and had a dental and only lost a couple of teeth. She is healing well from her spay. <br/><br/>Millie does need a secure fenced yard, and as she does like to ‘talk’ may not be a great fit in an apartment or condo.<br/><br/>Millie’s ideal home would have another mellow dog and people home much of the time. She would like nothing more than to cuddle with her people on the couch and sleep next to them in the big bed.
