Millie 's Story

Millie is a small mixed breed (we think Dachshund mix- she has short legs and a long body) around a year old and 10 pounds. She was originally surrendered to the rescue because the child in the family was allergic. She was then adopted and returned for being too playful. She is on the search for a forver family, again. She is super sweet and outgoing. She loves kids, cats and other dogs. It does take her a few seconds to intially warm up to a stranger but then acts like she's known you forver! She is the perfect mix of playful and lapdog! She is crate trained and 90 percent house trained. She does great once she is on a schedule and can get on a routine. She would thrive in a home with kids or another playful dog that she can play with. She loves to sleep in bed at night but does fine in her crate also. Adoption fee includes spay, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test (negative), flea/heartworm prevention and dewormed.<br/>If you would like to meet Millie, please fill out an application on our website www.thealmosthomerescue.com
