Millie's Story

Millie is proof that age is just a number. At around 11 years old, this sweet senior girl still wakes up every day ready to enjoy life to the fullest. With her adorable waddle, happy smile, and playful spirit, Millie approaches the world with curiosity and enthusiasm. She loves exploring new places, going for walks, and showing off her surprisingly energetic zoomies when the mood strikes. Don't let the gray on her muzzle fool youthis girl is still very much young at heart.

One of Millie's greatest joys is being close to her people. During a sleepover away from the shelter, she quickly showed everyone what a wonderful companion she is. She settled right into home life, kept her space clean, walked beautifully on leash, and happily soaked up every bit of affection she could get. Whether she's curled up on the couch, snoozing beside you in bed, or leaning into your chest for extra head rubs, Millie is happiest when she's sharing her love with someone special.

Millie has spent far too long waiting for the forever family she deserves. She's house-trained, knows how to sit, and has the gentle, grateful nature that only comes from a dog who truly appreciates life's simple pleasures. If you're looking for a loyal walking buddy, a world-class cuddle partner, and a best friend who will fill your home with love and smiles, Millie is ready to start her next chapter with you.

If your application is approved, the foster family will reach out to you directly to arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time and place. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our animals live in foster care full time, in the homes of our volunteers. Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and any other medical care that is required prior to adoption. A home check and vet reference are required prior to adoption. Each dog has different needs, so if one particular dog is not the right fit for your home, we may be able to recommend another that is a better match!
