Millie's Story

Millie is a beautiful 2-year-old Husky with a sweet personality and a gentle, well-tempered nature. She's ready to find an active family that can help her continue growing into the amazing companion she's meant to be.

Millie is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys being around people. She does well with children, other dogs, and even cats, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of homes.

Like many young Huskies, Millie would benefit from continued training and time to adjust to life in a new environment. She's eager to learn and will thrive with a family committed to providing structure, guidance, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment.

Millies previous life has largely been spent on a tie-out and we'd love to see her experience more freedom and adventure. A securely fenced yard would be a huge bonus, giving her a safe place to run, play, and enjoy being a dog. However, an active family committed to regular walks, outings, and exercise could also be a great fit.

At just 2 years old, Millie has plenty of energy and love to share. Whether it's going for hikes, exploring new places, or simply spending time with her family, she's ready for a life filled with companionship and fun.

Millie is currently waiting to complete her vaccines and spay procedure, but we are accepting applications now for her future adoption.

If you're looking for a friendly, active, and loving companion, Millie may be the perfect addition to your family. Cheboygan County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
We do not hold available/adoptable animals as we are a first come first serve facility. However, we do place animals in homes that are best fitting for that animal. If you rent, please supply your landlord's information as we cannot adopt until we speak to them directly or have something in writing approving the animal(s) allowed. If you are interested in us matching you with a forever pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire below for us to know a little bit more about you! Please keep in mind we do require vet checks and meet and greets with other dogs in the home. It normally takes 30 + minutes for the adoption process.
