I
would be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as the only dog
in my forever home, but I could also potentially do well with an
older, calmer dog who respects my space and matches my laid-back
energy. A proper introduction would help everyone make sure we are the
right fit. Younger, high-energy dogs probably aren’t for me. I’m a
grandma, and I prefer my roommates to understand the value of a
peaceful household.

I love tennis balls, chew bones, being brushed, and destroying toys
with impressive speed and efficiency. Please do not become emotionally
attached to any toy you give me. It will not survive.

I’m also a curious girl who likes to investigate anything left within
reach. Dry noodles? Interesting. Plastic bags? Worth exploring. The
trash? Obviously requires inspection. But I leave the dirty laundry
alone, so I believe I deserve some credit.

Most importantly, I am a complete lover. I want to be near my people,
and if you stop petting me before I’m finished, I will grumble until
you correct your mistake. My foster family says I have “Why are you on
my lawn?” grandma energy. That feels accurate, although I would also
like you to sit on the lawn with me, scratch behind my ears, and tell
me how pretty I am.

I’m not asking for a complicated life. I just want a comfortable place
to land, people who will keep me feeling my best, plenty of love, and
the security of knowing I’ll never be left waiting again.

If you have room in your home for one deeply devoted, mildly sassy,
snack-motivated senior girl, I would really love to meet you.

If you'd like to meet me, and if you are an approved LELRR adopter, refer to the instructions on your approval email.

Otherwise, please fill out an application at:
https://www.lelrr.org/adopt.html

and maybe soon we can start your lives together!!

Be prepared to provide proof of up to date vaccinations and year round heartworm preventative for any current or recent pets that you have owned.

Adoption radius 150 driving miles from Medina OHIO
