Millie's Story

Given the name Millie. Rescued from a horrible situation. This poor dog didn't have such a good life but you would NEVER know it. She is SUPER sweet, quiet and potty trained. She doesn't bark. She's a couch potato dog. Loves to snuggle right up against you. We really would like to get her out of TN and back to the east coast and into New Jersey. She's 8yrs old and fully vetted. She was rescued with another dog Maggie. They are a bonded pair and can not be separated. Both dogs temperament are exactly the same.<br/><br/>We do foster to adopt. This allows time for the adopter to make sure our rescue fits perfectly in their family and it also allows us time to see if the adopter fits well into our adoption family.<br/><br/>Must have a full fenced in yard. We conduct a thorough screening process that includes an application, reference and veterinary checks, and, when appropriate, home verification. We do not operate on a first-come, first-served basis—our priority is the right fit. Adopters must agree to provide ongoing veterinary care, proper housing, and a lifelong commitment. We maintain a strict return policy requiring that any animal adopted from us be returned to our rescue if the adopter is unable to keep them. We remain actively involved as a support system throughout the animal’s life.
