She has been with us for a few years due to her behavioral issues.<br/>Millie is NOT socialized and will need a kind and patient family.<br/>She is going to take work on the adopters part, she will gland, poo or tinkle on you if she is frightened.<br/>She has and can fear bite!<br/>She is very much a pet my belly dog but NOT a dog that likes to be held.<br/>She is NOT leash trained, uses potty pads in the house but will go outside.<br/><br/>She is absolutely NOT good with large dogs.<br/>Not good with children<br/>Not a good fit for elderly<br/>We don’t have cats, so please don’t ask.<br/><br/>Millie is a very sweet little girl who is looking for her forever home.<br/>She is overweight and will need a family that is aware and disciplined enough to help get the weight off of Millie. We have had her thyroid checked and no problems there. LowRider Dachshund Rescue's Adoption Policy
We try and make adopting a Dachshund as easy as possible while still assuring a safe and secure place for our fur-kids. We require that you fill out an adoption application and allow us to conduct a home visit, then we can match you up with the perfect LowRider! All of our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccination, microchipped, heart worm negative. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application https://www.lowriderrescue.com/adopt Our adoption fees vary by how much vet care we have in our rescues. Adult dogs start at $250, puppies start at $350 and full breed dachshund puppies start at $650. All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed / neutered, microchipped and heart worm negative. Any and all puppies will be available for adoption after 12 weeks of age, they will have completed all puppy shots and have time to recover from the spay/neuter.
