DOB 11/03/25 - Millie is a happy Border Collie/Aussie/Shepherd mix pup. She is good-natured and we think she will be a wonderful, active family companion! She was born with a genetic defect, and one eye did not develop. She has seen an Optimologist at VCA Advanced Care, and she has a clean bill of health. Milly's Foster Mom says she is very sweet and likes to get hugs and cuddles. She gets really excited to be outside. Because of her eye, sometimes she is a little late to respond, but she is alert. She hears the noise but doesn’t always see it. It usually takes her a few extra seconds to realize I’m giving her treats. Millie doesn't let the lack of vision in one eye slow her down at all. She's a happy, normal playful pup who loves attention and is eager to please. Please note that the application is not an agreement to adopt a pet. Improper placement can end tragically — usually for the dog. This comprehensive application helps us to place the right dog with the right family. An adoption interview will be scheduled either by phone or in person upon review of the application. The level of experience required, need for a fence, adequate exercise space, hours the animal may be left alone, young children and other pets in the home, etc will be discussed in the adoption interview and will be determined according to the need of each dog.
