Millie's Story

Sweet Millie has a heart as big as her 82-pound frame. A friend of hers did a DNA test and it revealed she is 65.4% Pit Bull, 19.7% Super Mutt, and 14.9% German Shepherd.

At just under 14 years old, this lovely girl has spent her entire life as a devoted companion. When circumstances changed and she could no longer stay with them, she found herself looking for a new place to call home — one where she can spend her golden years surrounded by love.

Millie is as kind as they come. She gets along with dogs, cats, and kids. She's house- and crate-trained (though her foster mom keeps the kennel door open because Millie doesn’t need it shut). Millie is gentle, loving, and she listens well.

She walks nicely on leash, but busy streets and traffic noises make her uneasy, so she’d feel safest in a home with a fenced yard where she can wander and sunbathe at her own pace.

Millie’s the perfect blend of sweetness and soul, just waiting for a soft spot to rest her head and a family to love again. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.

To be considered for adoption, you must first submit the application found at:
http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html

For information about this dog's breed(s), visit: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm
