Millie's Story

Hi my name is Millie! I'm an 11 yrs old and I was rescued from the county shelter before being euthanized. When I was around 2 yrs old I was adopted from the very same county shelter and spent the next 10 years being a faithful, loyal companion. 2 months ago my family tied me to the fence of the humane society in the middle of the night and left all of my belongings including my dog house on the side of the road. I was so scared and didn't understand why I was all alone again.

Well 2 months later this amazing rescue made a post begging for a foster to save my life. That's when my Foster Mommy saw my video. I was belly up wiggling and dancing and making the cutest noises and it worked!! She couldn't resist my cuteness and had to rescue me! Within 2 hours my rescue found transportation from Charlotte to Raleigh, where I met my Foster Mommy and Daddy. They tell me every day I'm the sweetest most beautiful dog in the whole world. That they will never leave me and will make sure I find my perfect family! Now I'm with a big family with children and lots of other doggies, big and small. I love the smaller humans so much and give tons of kisses and wiggles. I follow my foster mommy every where she goes and have learned my new routine quickly. I do good with other dogs, but prefer calmer dogs since I'm an older girl.
I still love to play and jump around for a few minutes, then will lay on my nice comfy bed chewing on a bone for a while.

I would love to find my forever family ? If you would like to meet me i promise you will not regret it and will fall in love with my amazing fun loving personality. Will you give me a chance??
