Miley's Story

Miley is an 1 year old Wheaten Terrier weighing 41 pounds. She is a unique and adorable girl with big ears that give her so much character and charm. Her expressive face and playful personality make her hard not to fall in love with the moment you meet her.

Miley was rescued from Crawfordville, GA after being purchased solely to be used for breeding and was kept confined to a small crate. Her so-called owner later decided she no longer wanted Miley at all. When Home for Good learned what Miley had endured, we stepped in without hesitation. This sweet girl deserved far more than the life she’d been given, and she is now looking for a loving home where she will finally know safety, comfort, and the kindness she has always deserved.

Miley is a spunky, energetic girl who is always ready for fun. She loves treats, squeaky toys, and any kind of playtime. Whether she is chasing a toy, exploring the yard, or bouncing around with excitement, she brings joy wherever she goes. She has a big personality packed into her medium-sized frame and keeps everyone around her entertained.

She’s dog‐friendly and would do best with a dog who can compliment her energy or as the queen canine at home. Miley does well with older children but prefers to go home without any cats. Miley enjoys exercise and would make a great hiking or walking partner. After she gets her energy out, she’s happy to stay close and soak up all the love she can get.

With her one‐of‐a‐kind looks and lively personality, Miley will thrive with an active, patient family who can give her plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and shine.

Miley is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

**Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org**

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
