Miley's Story

When Miley first came to us, she struggled with behavioral challenges and dog interactions. Thanks to a dedicated volunteer and consistent work using the Sit Means Sit NWA training method, Miley has blossomed into an incredibly well-behaved, happy, and stable dog, & we could not be more proud of her. Today, Miley is: crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, knows sit, down, place, and stay, is fantastic in the car, dog social and living successfully with multiple dogs, AMAZING with kids - she truly LOVES them, and toy obsessed in the cutest way. Because Miley's success has come from structured, consistent training, we are committed to making sure that progress continues in her forever home. Miley's adopter must attend 5 training sessions with Sit Means Sit NWA alongside Miley. This ensures her new family understands how to communicate with her and maintain everything she has worked so hard to learn. Thanks to our amazing supporters, the cost of these sessions AND her e-collar are already covered by donations. Fenced yard required. Other pets: Does great with the male and female dogs she currently lives with, we recommend avoiding highly dominant dogs to be safe, she does live with cats and has done fine, but we believe a dog-only home (or very dog-savvy cat situation) may be best.
