Miles

Miles came to Save A Pet as an owner surrender when he was 5 months old. He has grown up at the shelter.<br/>He is a very smart and loyal dog! <br/>Miles enjoys rolling around in the grass on warm sunny days as well as curling up on the couch given the chance. Where you go, he goes! <br/>Miles has been living with a foster since before Christmas. He lives with 4 other dogs- all sizes and ages. It took a couple of weeks for him to learn the routine but now he is thriving! He hasn't had any issues with the cat during the few interactions- he seems uninterested.<br/>This sweet boy walks beautifully on leash, is house trained, and crate trained.<br/>His recall is very good off leash as well.<br/>Miles was born in November of 2023, so he is just over 2 years old. He weighs 45 pounds. He is half Texas Healer as his father was full-blooded and mother a mixed breed pup.<br/>Miles would do best in a home with no small children. He definitely prefers a quieter environment with few new faces/visitors. (He takes a bit to warm up to new people- he can be protective at times of those he loves)<br/>Miles needs plenty of room to run safely- fenced yard is best.
