Miles's Story

Hi, I'm Miles! I'm a nine-week-old chocolate lab, and even though I only weigh 13 pounds, I'm pretty sure I'm the boss of this house. My life revolves around three essential things: playing, eating, and napping. Sounds perfect, right? It is!

Playing is the best. I love chewing on squeaky toys, chasing after anything that moves (especially feet!), and generally causing delightful chaos. Then comes eating. Food is good. Really, really good. I gobble it up so fast, I think I might inhale some of it. And then, of course, there’s napping. A good play session always leads to a perfect nap, usually curled up in a sunny spot.

Snuggling is also high on my list of favorite things. I’m a champion snuggler, always ready to flop down for some cuddles. But sometimes my enthusiasm gets the best of me and I get a little nippy. My humans are trying to teach me that biting isn’t the best way to show affection. We’re working on it. I get belly rubs instead – much better!

Potty training is another ongoing project. I'm making progress, though! Accidents still happen, but I'm learning where I'm supposed to go. My humans get really excited when I do it right, which makes me feel like a super-dog. At night, I sleep in my crate. It's cozy in there! I sleep right through the night, and usually, I keep it nice and clean. I'm a pretty good boy, if I do say so myself.

Honestly, life as a puppy is pretty amazing. I’m learning new things every day, getting lots of love and attention, and generally being the most heartbreaker puppy anyone has ever met. And I plan on keeping it that way!

My foster says I need to tell you that I'm a foster to adopt puppy because I'm not neutered yet. Once I get neutered, I'm all yours to keep forever!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
