Millie is an independent soul, but she loves nothing more than a good cuddle and a gentle ear scratch. She's super friendly and gets along well with most other dogs, however she would be just as happy as an only dog. <br/>Millie has an eye defect that doesn't seem to bother her and also has "cauliflower ear" which we believe was from neglect or abuse. She was found as a stray by animal control and was brought into the shelter. Millie stayed in that shelter for a long time, unwanted, because of her defects. Now she resides in a foster home while she waits for her furever family to adopt her.<br/>With a heart as big as hers, Millie is always ready to give and receive love, and she hopes to find her furever home soon. Please give Millie a chance to steal your heart...

They are loyal to their person, they are comical, spunky, stubborn, smart and loving. And most of all, each one posseses such a unique and special personality that you can't help but fall in love right back. We do have some requirements to go through our adoption process; they are as follows: We require that you own your home. We are no longer processing applications from renters. We require that you have a secure, completely fenced back yard. And we require that you currently or have owned pets in the past with the information of your current veterinarian.
