Mildred's Journey<br/><br/>This little warrior came in like a wrecking ball, full of energy for her follow up visit....and the team at Purdue University had wonderful news to share.<br/><br/>Mildred's heart surgery was a success, and her future is bright. She will always have a slightly enlarged heart, but the cardiology team says she should live life as every puppy should - running, playing, and simply being a puppy.<br/><br/>And that's exactly what Mildred plans to do.<br/><br/>Millie, a 8-month-old Shepherd/Labrador mix with a shiny black coat and energy to burn, loves life. Snow days, searching for the biggest sticks and playing outside are at the top of her list. Snuggling comes in a close second... and of course, food. Find a pet your are interested in, then complete the application Adoption Volunteers Reviews application (may take a while due to the number of applications we receive) Once Approved we will contact you via email or by phone Set up and Meet and Greet Home Visit Adoption fees: Vary depending on the dog and the vetting needed. Includes vetting: spay/neuter microchip vaccines rabies (4 mnths and older) heartworm test and prevention, flea and tick preventative de-worming.
