Milan's Story

Milan is 1 year old shepard mix who has shown herself to be the sweetest girl! Officially done with her puppy raising duties, this mama is now looking for her furever home.

Milan has been working very hard on her potty training, has warmed up to enjoying some toys and yummy chews, and loves a good nap on the couch.

She is dog friendly and very tolerant and patient. While playing with other pups, she loves a game of tug, chase, or a good wrestle! Once playtime is over, she loves to lay in the grass with her belly up to the sun

She is still learning to navigate the world around her and while she shows interest in being on leash to go for walks, she is still learning that the leash is safe. For that reason, Milan will need a home with a tall fence. As a shepherd mix, she exhibits some herding behaviors and would do best in a home with older children. She is also heartworm positive but all treatment will be paid for by the rescue if our partner vet is used.

Milan does very well being left at home uncrated (with proper precautions and risky items out of reach), setting off the puppy cam just once to move from one spot of the couch, to another

While shy at first, nothing feels better than the first time you come home and see how excited she is to see you. Any family would be lucky to take Milan home!

ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.

2.
