Mila's Story

Mila is very aloof and quirky. She is hesitant with people until she knows they're HER people and then she's all in. She is a flight risk and likely an escape artist and also not chicken friendly so that needs to be taken into account.

She doesn't particularly love people handling her around her face and head (may be trauma related). She is tolerable of other dogs but not BFF's. Doesn't really have interest in playing with the others.

She is kennel trained and has had zero accidents in her crate. She is also super talkative in her crate which is to be expected considering her breed breakdown.

She wants/needs engagement/enrichment from her person. She would lay around with her person but also will want to be engaged both physically and mentally. She is extremely athletic and smart so exercise along with mental stimulation like puzzles, games, teaching tricks etc. would serve her well.

Essentially she would do best with one person who's looking for a BFF and that can give her physical/mental stimulation. She is super beautiful and intelligent.

If you aren't in the state of Texas, Mila is still available to be adopted! We use several reliable transport companies that can get these precious babies anywhere! Unfortunately, Texas doesn't have any spay/neuter laws in place so many rescues are overrun with amazing adoptable dogs and cannot find homes in the state. Shelters are euthanizing dogs at alarming rates right now so many rescues only hope is to ship out of state.

Adoption Application: https://dfwfgf.org/adopt/
