MIKEY

Mikey here and I was just sprung from the pound a few days ago. My previous owners brought me there, not sure why. The pound was really full but I was lucky enough to get sprung and ended up at the Animatch Centre. It was very sad seeing all those dogs just barking, “Take me, and take me!” I was so happy when my door opened and I was whisked away by two very nice ladies who told me better days were ahead. My family apparently bought me at a pet shop as a Bichon-X but everyone is quite sure that I have some Lhasa in my ancestry. Not important what my breed is because all dogs are created equal when it comes to being a wonderful best friend to their guardian. I was very disappointed that I could no longer stay in my home; I was sure that this only happened to dogs who at least had done something wrong. Apparently, the reasons that dogs are given up rarely have anything to do with the dog; I know that I didn’t do anything. I am playful and friendly, get along with other dogs, and love going for long walks. I hope my days as an orphan will be few. So, if you are looking for a wagging tail of a dog who will love you forever for giving him a second chance at happiness…. look no further. Please, for the love of dog, before adopting make sure that you are ready to make the commitment of keeping me for the rest of my life. Just fill in the adoption form and ask for Mikey.
