His journey hasn’t been easy. He was facing euthanasia at a Palm Beach, Florida shelter before rescue stepped in and gave him the second chance he so deeply deserved.<br/><br/>Mikey can be a bit timid and scared at first, especially in a crate or kennel, which he truly does not enjoy. But once he’s out, it’s like watching a video of a flower blooming in fast motion. He warms up quickly and shows that he is a SUPER affectionate sweetheart, who wants nothing more than to be close to his people and soak up love.<br/><br/>This charming boy loves going for walks and enjoys exploring the world at a gentle pace. He also does well with other dogs and would be happy to have a calm canine friend to help show him the ropes.<br/><br/>Mikey is looking for a kind, understanding home that will give him time to feel safe and loved.
