Introducing Mikey! He is very sweet but very shy. He is thought to be a mini aussie or border collie mix who only weighs 35 pounds and is 1 year 5 months old. He will need someone who will have the patience to earn his trust, he will quickly be the best friend you could ever ask for. When you look in his eyes you'll see that he really want to just snuggle in. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Mikey is crate trained and is working on potty training. He is great with other dogs and loves to play with them. Due to his skittish nature Mikey does require a securely fenced yard.<br/><br/>Mikey is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. All of our animals require a no-obligation, free application submitted, which you can find at our website http://gfrpets.org. Our adoptable pets are in foster care and we do not have a physical shelter, so, once approved, we will arrange with you a meet and greet. We have select cats and kittens in the Pekin Petco condos. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped with flea and heartworm preventative. Learn more about our adoption process and apply through our website.
