Heyyy my name is Michelangelo Calabasas but everybody calls me Mikey! My story started up in Mineral Wells where I was originally found as just a puppy wandering the streets. Someone found me and decided to give me to a lady that definitely had no business having a dog, especially one as awesome as me! I lived with her for months and in that time she locked me in a crate and never let me out or cleaned it! Then she stopped feeding me and thought it was funny when I would eat her cigarette butts because I was so hungry. Then one day my angel (Monica) came to the house and I thank her every day for saving my life! She scooped me up and immediately took me to Greens Creek. I was in rough shape, I had sores all over my body from laying in my own filth all day, and I weighed in at about 40 pounds when I need to weigh about 65. However, that is all behind me now! I have gained all the weight I need ed and I am very healthy and very active. I have been in two different foster homes and I was an absolute gem at both places. Unfortunately, I had to leave my first foster home due to no fault of my own things just change. Where I’m at now, I have lots of land to run and play on and lots of friends! I absolutely love to play, it’s probably my favorite thing in the whole world. I like to play with other dogs, I like to play with toys, I’ll play with sticks, just about anything! I also really like to play with cats, maybe a little too much. My foster mom says I can’t be around them. I’m a big lover and love to be loved on. I also love kids, but I am a big boy and I have big boy energy so small children may not be best, but I am very trainable and eager to please. I love my foster family but I’m ready for a family all of my own that I can love everyday!
