If you are interested in meeting him please call 913-321-1445 or email petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment.<br/><br/>Mike is happily enjoying life in his foster home, but there's still one thing this sweet face is waiting for — a family of his very own. <br/><br/>And honestly, he's making a pretty strong case for himself. He's potty trained, great on a leash, wonderful with other dogs, loves kids, and would be over the moon to have a backyard where he can run, play, and get all his zoomies out. <br/><br/>No cats for this guy, but he has plenty of love to go around!<br/><br/>He's happy, goofy, loving, and has settled into home life like he was made for it.<br/><br/>His foster home is giving him a wonderful place to stay, but Mike deserves to know the feeling of being home for good. No more waiting. No more wondering what comes next. Just his people, his favorite spot on the couch, and a lifetime of being loved. <br/><br/>Look at that face one more time... maybe hes been waiting for you. <br/><br/>Mike is a handsome 5-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs 70 lbs. <br/><br/>If you are interested in meeting Mike please email us at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment.<br/><br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofKCKAS/ for more info about weekend adoption hours, events and available pets. <br/><br/>We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives? Consider fostering by filling out our foster application at https://www.kckpd.org/Animal-Services/Foster-a-Pet. All supplies are provided.
