Mikah's Story

Can I come home with you puhhleeezzz???

My name is Mikah, I am King Charles Spaniel/ Lab mix born 10/4/2024. I’ve been in and out of foster care for about a year now. Nothing is wrong with me I’m just a super active girl and require A-LOT of activity!

A little bit about me, I love love love too play! Can’t be boring over here we have to go out and explore the world! I love my walks, car rides, dog parks, you name it! I get bored very easily and need to stay busy at all times or I might get into things I shouldn’t. Typical dog right?

I am kennel trained, and potty trained. I’m like a wind up toy with unlimited winds. My foster mom calls me crazy.

I have been adopted and returned 4 different times as the right person just has not come along yet, and also apparently I wasn’t the “perfect dog”. Psh well what do they know right? Because of all the returns it has made me act out to where I have developed reactivity in my kennel especially while I’m eating. I have been getting a little better with my foster moms help and don’t do it as much but it has not completely gone away. So please don’t hold this against me, I’m just very protective of my bubble and my space.

Other dogs is required for my adoption as like I said I get really bored and other dogs really help for my guidance. As I do love cats so much I do love to play chase. My foster mom’s cats don’t mind all that much because they enjoy the chase and often play along, however, some kitties may not enjoy this so please take this into consideration, as I don’t want to be returned because of this!

I do get super excited around kids and love to jump and give kisses so please no babies or toddlers for my home, mature adults for my home are required!

My adoption fee is $150 which includes my vaccinations, microchip, spay, heartworm negative test with current monthly preventive. Come meet me Saturday 11-2 at 8901 highway 87 building 119. You can also email adoptions.spspca@gmail.com with questions.
