Mika's Story

Meet Mika

Mika is a loving, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to be close to her humans soaking up love and attention. She's active, smart, and eager to please, making her highly trainable and a wonderful companion for the right home.

Mika is already potty trained and crate trained, and she thrives with consistency and structure. She learns quickly and loves having guidance and routine.

She has done well with larger dogs, especially calm or passive personalities, as she can be more dominant herself. Because of her high prey drive, Mika should not be placed in a home with small dogs, cats, or other small animals.

Mika is still working on her leash manners and can become very excited and distracted outdoors, so continued training will help her succeed. She's also a bit of an escape artist, meaning she'll do best with an owner committed to daily exercise and mental stimulation, or a home with a secure, well-fenced yard where she can safely burn off energy.

Mika would thrive in an active home that can provide structure, consistency, and lots of affection. In return, you'll get a loyal, cuddly, fun-loving dog who will form a deep bond with her people.

Perfectly Imperfect Pups's Adoption Policy
Once we receive your application an adoption counselor will take a look and reach out with any questions. The team will check personal, vet references and check with your landlord if applicable. Your adoption counselor will then set up a time to talk with you and your family (or anyone else involved in the adoption process in your home). This call is a good time to ask any questions you have. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster of the PIP(s) you are interested in. From start to finish, this process can take anywhere from a few days to over a week (so please be patient!). If everything goes well and you and the foster agree that the PIP you want to adopt is a good fit, we will then finalize the adoption.
