Midori's Story

Midori is a social, people-loving, happy dog who lived her past 4+ months in a human homeless shelter where she was a staff favorite. Her former owner was staying there and left her there when they moved out. Midori is elated to be in the comforts of a foster home!

Midori's adoption fee is waived because she does have resource guarding around food with other dogs. So she needs to be the only dog in the home. She does not resource guard food with people. And she actually LOVES to play with other dogs, so she is not aggressive to other dogs in general and can be around them and have play dates. She just cannot live in a home with another dog.

- 1.5 years old and a petite 45 pounds

- Possibly a Pit Bull mix, she has a thicker coat almost like a Lab

- ADORES people and really wants all the attention and affection she can get. Equally friendly with men and women and no stranger danger.

- We have not seen her with kids but she would probably do fine with kids ages 7+ years old

- We have not seen her with cats but can do a cat test with her

- Crate trained

- Excellent with her potty habits

- Knows "sit" and is very treat motivated to learn

- Wiggly, loving dog eager to engage with anyone who will give her attention

- Medium energy in the home and can settle. Higher energy while doing outdoor activities

- Will play for a long time with another energetic dog friend

Midori is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland.

Waived adoption fee to help her find a home.

Fostered in Beaverton, Oregon

APPLY TO ADOPT MIDORI ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

We provide you the foster home's contact information and you set up a time to go and visit the dog you're interested in. 4.
