Midnight's Story

Meet Midnight! Midnight is a 4-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy is currently recovering beautifully after being shot, but don't tell him that — he truly thinks he's invincible!

Midnight is full of love and energy. He absolutely loves giving hugs and wants to be by your side wherever you go. If you're looking for a loyal shadow and best friend, Midnight is your guy. He is house trained, walks well on a leash, and does great with kids.

Midnight can be very skittish in new places and takes time to warm up to unfamiliar environments. Loud noises can scare him, so he would do best with a patient family that will help him feel safe and secure while he adjusts.

Like many dogs who have experienced food insecurity, Midnight is still working on manners around food and should be fed separately from other dogs to help him feel safe and comfortable during mealtime.

Midnight is also quite the athlete and can jump fences if he sees you on the other side, so he'll need a secure setup and a family that understands his adventurous spirit.

Despite everything he's been through, Midnight remains loving, resilient, and full of life. He's ready to find a forever home that will give him the safety, patience, and love he deserves.
