🐾 **OUR ADOPTION POLICIES & PROCESS — Finding the Right Fit, Building Lifelong Connections!** At Team Memphis Rescue and Support (TMRS), alongside our Pennsylvania team (TMRSPA) and expanding rescue network, our reach extends across state lines, but our mission remains: finding the right families for every one of our dogs and building lifelong connections rooted in love and trust. ❤️🐾 **🐾 Step 1: Start With an Application** Complete our application so we can learn about you, your home, your lifestyle, and what you're looking for in a new family member. **🐾 Step 2: Let's Get to Know Each Other!** We'll connect with you personally, discuss your expectations, answer questions, and complete personal and veterinary reference checks. Our process includes home visits, photos, videos, and meet-and-greets to get to know you and help ensure a safe, comfortable home for our dog. We're not looking for perfection. We're looking for love, responsibility, and a home where every one of our dogs can thrive. **Our goal isn't to find reasons to say no. We'll help coordinate it because the perfect family isn't always right around the corner. --- **🐾 Our Adoption Requirements** **Every single one of our dogs matters to us.** Their health, happiness, and future are responsibilities we take to heart. Our adoption requirements reflect that commitment: - **Age:** Adopters must be at least 21. - **Vaccinations:** All household pets must be current on rabies and all required age-appropriate vaccinations. No exceptions. - **Spay & Neuter:** All household pets must be spayed or neutered unless medically exempt by a licensed veterinarian. - **Preventative Care:** All household pets must be on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. - **Veterinary Verification:** We verify veterinary references and records.
