Here's hoping that his golden touch brings him good luck and a swift exit from the shelter. Midas is a gorgeous and regal 92#, senior German Shepherd that we are hoping finds a kind soul to take him on for his sunset year(s). Midas is a neutered male that we estimate to be at least 11 years old. He is mild mannered, easy to walk and just wants to enjoy some company and a soft spot to lay down. He was found as a stray, sitting on a curb in his rumored neighborhood. We're fairly confident his owners know that he is here, but for whatever reason would not retrieve him and so our job is to find this sweet old soul a beautiful place to live out the rest of his days. Midas does have a rather large mass on his abdomen and some age related wear and tear in his joints, teeth and eyes, but his spirit is mighty and he has some spunk left for some breezy walks and scratches behind the ears. <br/>Due to his advanced age and possible health issues, we're hoping that the right person comes along and offers him a home where he can be loved and treated with kindness. At this time we do not know how he would do living with other dogs or cats.
