Micki is an approximately 6 year old shepherd mix who was turned in when his owners could no longer care for him. He is such a beautiful soul, he is going to make someone an excellent dog. A great way to describe him would be a gentle giant, he loves everyone, and is great with other dogs. He has been around kids before and also does well with them. It is unknown how he would do with cats, we just haven’t seen him with them. Much past the puppy stage, he would love to go for a walk daily to keep up his handsome physique but is otherwise pretty laid back. His previous owners didn’t keep him on heartworm prevention which in the south almost always means they are positive. He has been treated prior to coming to Minnesota but will still require 4 weeks of low key exercise to allow his body to heal.

Requirements: Home with yard space.

Adoption Fee: $450 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives
