I was part of a big hoarding situation, and many of us didn't get enough food or love. I came to Wisconsin skinny, unsure, and terrified. But then... everything changed. When I arrived at my foster home, I saw another dog—and guess what? My tail started wagging for the very first time. She showed me that humans can be good, soft beds are real, and toys... oh boy, toys are AMAZING. Now I'm learning that people are pretty great too. I like to stay close to my humans, and if you stop petting me, I'll tap your arm with my paw like, “Um... excuse me? I wasn't done with pets.”<br/>My Favorite Things:<br/>• Chewing toys (LOTS of toys, please!)<br/>• Playing with my dog friends<br/>• Big cozy dog beds to stretch out on<br/>• Laying under a highchair at dinner time<br/>• Following my people around and being told I'm handsome (I am, have you seen my markings?)<br/>My Skills:<br/>• Sit<br/>• Lay down<br/>• Paw<br/>• Crate trained<br/>• Potty trained when kept on a schedule<br/><br/>I live with a kid, a baby, cats, and another dog — and I'm gentle with everyone. I'm still gaining weight and confidence, but I've come SO far already. I'm smart, eager to learn, and full of love I'm just waiting to give. What I'm Looking For: A patient family who understands that I might need a little time to warm up... but once I do? You'll have the sweetest, most loyal friend you could ask for.
