I love to play with toys, chase sticks I find in the yard, and explore the basement. I am very curious and need to experience everything. I have no problem with meeting new people. As a matter of fact, I will run right up to visitors to say hello. Humans provide pets, belly rubs, and snuggling. They are the best!

Playing with other dogs is one of my favorite activities. In one of my foster homes, I had several foster siblings; I loved playing with them all and got along very well with everyone. In my current foster home, I'm the only dog, but I have made friends with other dogs in the neighborhood, so I do have someone to run and play with in the back yard. And the yard has a fence, which is amazing. There are squirrels, birds and rabbits out there. How exciting is that? Of course, I approach these critters gently and cautiously. I just want to play with them.

I don't like to brag, but I am pretty smart. I get excited when I can use my brain, so enrichment is a must for me. I enjoy snuffle mats, pupsicles, and toys with hidden treats. It is such a challenge to figure them out, and so rewarding when I do.

Do you like cheese? I really like cheese. I would like to mention that my new home needs to have cheese. As a matter of fact, I feel that's a requirement.

Another thing I should ask is, are you an early riser? I hope not. If I am being honest, I do tend to sleep in. I am not known to be the first one up in the morning. I'm just not a morning dog. So, a cheese-loving late-sleeper appears to be my preference for my human.

If you feel you have the attributes which I require to live my best life, please consider adopting me. I have so much love to give, and I can't wait to share it with you.

------

B.O.N.E.S. is a foster-home-based rescue organization serving dogs and potential adopters in the New England states. Beagles of New England States Inc. (B.O.N.E.S.), Inc.'s Adoption Policy
B.O.N.E.S. is an all-volunteer organization with a mission to rescue, re-home, and provide necessary medical care to beagles in need throughout the New England area. We endeavor to improve the quality of life for beagles in New England through outreach and education programs. We do not have a shelter for you to visit; our beagles are in foster homes where we can provide a better evaluation, as well as respond to their individual needs. Our beagles are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, and up to date with all vaccines. Rather than accepting applications for specific beagles, our adoption counselors will walk you through the process of verifying your readiness, then matching you with a beagle that meets your lifestyle and family needs. If you agree, you can meet the selected beagle to ensure that it is a match. To learn more, click the “Adoption Application” button below.
