Michaela's Story

Hi, I’m Michaela, and I’m so excited to meet you!

I’m around 8 months old and weigh around 40 lbs, which puts me right in that fun, medium-sized range. I’m still very much a puppy, with a medium energy level. I love to play outside when the weather cooperates, but I’m just as happy coming inside for cuddles and belly rubs (those are my favorite!).

I really enjoy being around people and other dogs. I currently live in a home where I spend time with a 10-year-old child, and we do great together. I haven’t met any cats yet, so that part of my story is still a mystery.

I’m kennel trained and doing well there. I’m also learning the ropes with house training and making good progress. Walking on a leash is something I’m still working on, but I’m eager to learn, and I try my best. I love playing with my toys, and I’m always excited to learn new things, especially when praise and love are involved.

My foster says I’d do well in just about any home that’s ready to give me the love, patience, and attention a growing puppy needs. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful girl who loves people, belly rubs, and being part of the family, I might be your perfect match.
